“Come to Me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I shall give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 TS2009
Hello, Readers!
Dalana here! I thought I would share with you a little bit about our first-ever song, Abyss of the Lost. This song speaks volumes about the state of the world and how we can find peace in walking with God.
This song originated in the early fall of 2024. ECH created its soundtrack months before I (Dalana) ever heard it. But once I listened to it, I knew I had to make it a song. It's such an epic track that I just couldn’t resist. So, I got to work. It actually took me about a month to write Abyss of the Lost in March 2025. I would write a verse and get stuck for a week at a time. Finally, I prayed over it and was able to sit down and finish the lyrics by writing those crazy bars towards the end of the song. That part had me stumped for a little while because I had never written anything for the rap genre before. But, it was a fun challenge! And it came out amazing!
Abyss of the Lost has many points of inspiration from close friends to world events. But the biggest inspiration for this song is my friend ECH. He has had many points of deliverance throughout his life and this song, to me, kind of embodies his testimony: that even though things are crazy, even though you feel lost and broken, God still has a plan and He will see us through to peace if we trust in Him. There’s so much discord in the world right now. From wars in the Middle East to political chaos and everything in between. It seems there is no rest in those who let the chaos consume them. But there is a Light above, shining brighter than we can imagine, inviting us into a peace within, and pulling the lost souls out of the darkness of the abyss.
People have told us that this song is inspired by the Most High, and truly, it is. Within 24 hours of releasing Abyss of the Lost on YouTube, over 100 people heard our message of deliverance. And within a week, over 250 people were reached. Keep in mind, this was our first collaboration and it premiered on my channel which wasn’t very active at all. And yet, Yah spread that song all over the world. There is so much power in this song and I think it just speaks to the soul.
Soon after releasing Abyss of the Lost, we dedicated that song, and our band, to God. He has big plans and a big message to convey through us, and we intend to let Him have all the glory.
Thank you so much for reading friends!
May Jehovah bless you and keep you!
Ciao, ciao!
